Okaya EV Chargers has announced its partnership with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to install a total of 2,550 EV chargers across the country.

While EVs accounted for just 2.4 per cent of India's vehicle sales in the first half of this year, EV sales grew 137 per cent to 48,000 units during the same period, research firm Canalys says.

LUCKNOW: Electric vehicle owners will not have to worry about running out of battery while travelling on expressways in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) will set up 72 charging stations for electric vehicles along the five expressways in the state.

Japanese electric vehicle maker Terra Motors Corporation said it aims to deploy 800 to 1,000 charging points by the end of March next year with a target annual revenue of USD 668,000. Chandigarh: At loggerheads with the Chandigarh municipal corporation over installation of charging stations at markets, the local bodies department of the Chandigarh administration has issued directions to the civic body in writing to implement all the clauses of the policy, falling under the MC’s jurisdiction. The directions have come after the general house of the MC in July had refused to allot space in the paid parking lots to install EV charging stations.
