12 Kolkata roads to get 24 EV parking slots with charging infra this June

The city will get exclusive parking slots that are reserved for electric cars this June. In 12 parking lots on roads like Rabindra Sarani, Chittaranjan Avenue, AJC Bose Road, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road, CIT Road (Park Circus), Kyd Street, Rabindra Sarobar and Paharpur Road (Garden Reach), at least 24 slots will be reserved for EVs. Hero Moto's Vida sets up EV fast charging stations across three cities

Hero MotoCorp's EV subsidiary Vida, which launched its first electric scooter V1 last year, has now begun setting up its own EV fast-charging network starting with the cities where it retails the V1 electric scooter. The company has set up about 300 charging stations across 50 'key locations' in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Jaipur. Bharat Petroleum, Voltup to set up 650 EV battery swapping stations across 50 cities

Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) start-up VoltUp is collaborating with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) to set up 650 swapping stations with over 7,800 charging docks across 50 cities in the next three years.
