EV fast-chargers in 18 Indian Oil locations soon as part of Rs 2 trillion net-zero target of 2046

State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) will soon have EV fast-chargers installed across 18 strategic locations in the country. The tender to supply these fast-chargers has been awarded to Gurugram-based EV charging network startup, Statiq. The 18 locations will have a blend of fast-chargers with the capacity of charging passenger cars at 30kWh or 60kWh capacity. Statiq aims to have a network of approximately 20,000 EV chargers across the country by the end of 2022.
