Tata Power has tied up with OEMs like Tata Motors under which home charger solution is provided to each of the vehicle owner, as part of the vehicle purchase and nearly 15,000 home chargers have been provided. In addition to this, nearly 2,000 plus public chargers are provided in nearly 170 cities including highways between cities so as to provide flexibility to users to top up their charging, as and when required.

PUNE While the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has proposed setting up as many as 2,375 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across the state by 2025, it has built only 13 out of the 500 EV charging stations that were announced back in 2018

The Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEBL) and Elocity has partnered to build an EV charging network in the state, and the project has been kicked-off with charging station in the Palakkad District of Kerala.

A senior BESCOM official said that the date to apply for tender has been extended till June 17 as many perspective bidders had raised objection. “The conditions set in the tender has been decided by the committee as per the provisions of government. The Noida Authority, in an official statement, slammed EESL for not completing the deployment of EV charging stations within the designated timeframe. It pointed out that the authority is also receiving complaints of installed charging stations that have run out of order in the nearby areas of Sector 42.

The three companies will explore setting up electric vehicle charging infrastructure for four-wheelers along with expanding Castrol's services to cater to EVs.
