The Delhi government is working to set up over 5,000 kerbside EV charging points on all major roads in the coming 3 years, according to the officials. On Monday, Jasmine Shah, Vice Chairperson of the Dialogue and Development Commission of India (DDCD) convened a meeting on the installation of kerbside EV charging points in Delhi.

Shell to set up 10000 EV charging points, expand retail outlets

Shell launched its first electric vehicle (EV) chargers in India, for the four-wheeler and two-wheeler segments in Bengaluru today. India is the first market for Shell to launch chargers for two-wheelers. The company plans to expand the same to 10,000 charging points by 2030 across its fuel retail outlets and offices, malls, residences among others. By 2025, Shell aims to operate over 500,000 charge points globally.
