PMC To Start 500 Charging Stations For Electric Vehicles

Now, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has finalized locations for this, like municipal gardens, main roads and educational institutes, in a bid to promote the use of e-bikes and e-cars. PMC officials said tenders have been issued and private agencies will be roped in for the project. The civic administration aims to charge a minimum amount for charging EVs and the money will be used for upkeep of the stations.
